Absolutely Amazing Auctions
For quite some time I have been fascinated by auctions. the bargains one can find at auctions, especially online ones, can be amazing. The latest and most exciting form of online auction site currently is SwipeAuctions. Their site is only small compared to some of the Mega Auction sites. This is an advantage as it has only got the best bargains that are not hidden by thousands of junk items.
The site is run as a so-called “Penny-Auction”. Bidders buy packs of “penny” bids and then make bids on the desired item. Item prices are raised by a cent (penny) a bid. The last person having made a bid when the time runs out is the successful buyer. The amazing thing is the often low very prices at completion.
Buying products from them was a joy, quick and easy checkout with a choice of payment methods. The delivery time was amazing and hassle-free. This was a change from the repeated and often frustrating orders from another more famous site.
The main reason for this excellent service is the new VIP Customer Service section. This is in addition to a FAQ and help section. Total hassle free auctions and no deadbeat sellers. About time!
Macaroon surprise
My favorite food in the world is coconut macaroons. I’ve had so many in my life that I couldn’t even count if someone gave me a million dollars to.
So as so much of a aficionado I am, I decided that I wanted to learn how to make them. That’s a lot easier said than done, which I should have noticed as soon as I looked up a recipe with hughesnet.
Well, it’s not like actually mixing up the stuff was all that hard to do. It’s that I just can’t make them look as good as the macaroons that you buy in a store or get at a specialty bakery. I even compared it to some pictures of some of my favorite macaroons that I found on hughes net Texas.
But the best thing about food is that even though there might be things that do not look appetizing at all, whatever it is you made can still taste fantastic. It isn’t all about presentation.
Idiotic Illegal Immigration Ideas
The ill-advised Liberal Leader and wannabe Prime minister Tony Abbott has again commented on something he knows little about. That is not unusual as he knows little about ANYTHING, but he has excelled on the latest rant.
He is deriding the efforts of the current Labor administration and their plans to reduce pressure on the existing detention and processing centres for illegal immigrants. His statement that the Liberals had less than 4 boats in their last year of government, whereas the Labor government has had almost 100 boats is perfectly understandable.
If I was a starving, frustrated and depressed potential illegal migrant to Australia, I would not want to pay to come here if the Liberals were in power. The most oppressive and Draconian government would be better compared to the spectre of living under liberal rule.

Past Programming Prowess
Some of you maybe aware that I have been a personal computer user for over 30 years. Having started out as a programmer in the late 70′s, I note with great interest in a return to real programming. Apple has realised the security issues that script programming has caused in the past on various platforms. So starting now Apple has decided that C/C++ and Objective C are to be the only programming language now to be used for apps on the iPhone and related platforms. Hurray, at last the script kiddys will have to learn PROGRAMMING and PROGRAM Design.
